GET PLUGGED INTO A SHORT-TERM MISSION OPPORTUNITY!

ongoing flood restoration work	Visit our Facebook page at Facebook.com/firstchurch and keep up to date on crews doing flood relief work. Teams are being led by our UM Disaster Relief Coordinator Jerry Haines. We have teams working every day. If you have even a few hours to help, what is needed the most is simply people willing to be present to work. Wallace Run Rd. Project	Oct. 22 \|\| Saturday 7:30am Meet at Four Mile School, bring a lunch Day 1 (Oct. 22) A large crew of volunteers are needed to pack & relocate the contents of a home. Days 2 + ongoing (Oct. 24) Drywall removal & reconstruction. Second shift opportunities to serve may also be available. Contact Jon Best if you can join this team.

Montoursville Project	Oct. 24 \|\| Monday Mill St., Montoursville Receptacles, switches and a few junction boxes need to be rewired. The home needs an electrical inspection (ordered and pending) so power is available and fans, heat and dehumidifiers can be turned on to dry the house. Bob Bauder will lead this team of three or four volunteers beginning Monday, October 24 and will work for most of that week. Contact Jon Best if you can join this team.

Williamsport Project	Oct. 24 \|\| Monday Locust St., Williamsport Porch Rebuilding & Roofing This project, while not flood related, is part of our community outreach program. The existing porch roof needs to be removed, some structural framing must be replaced and then a new roof installed. Five or six volunteers are needed for this three day project. Work will begin on Monday, October 24. Contact Jon Best if you can join this team.
