WHY SERVE?

Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who love God, love others, and serve the world.  Serving others is a big part of that mission.  It's how we live out the love of Jesus Christ to our neighbors, co-workers, and other people in our communities and beyond.  Regardless of which style of worship you prefer or how you connect socially in the church, God calls each of us to service.

*HOW DO I SERVE AT FIRST CHURCH?
There are many different ways you can serve at First Church.  Getting connected to service opportunities is as simple as expressing interest in getting involved.  We're happy  to help you find your role within the body of Christ both in our church and in our community.

*WHAT OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR ME TO SERVE?
Perhaps you know your way around a piano or are handy with a hammer; we've got a place for you!  Maybe you're able to tutor a student or you're inspired to serve meals at local soup kitchens.  You may find joy in being the first smiling face someone sees when they walk through the doors on a Sunday morning.
