February is often times thought of as the season of love with the focus that comes with Valentine’s day.  We are given all kinds of symbols that supposedly show our “Love”---ranging from romantic hearts to the bow and arrow of cupid to diamonds and jewelry.  “Love” has in fact become so commercialized that it is used to sell everything from cars to chocolates that we should buy that special someone.  We even hear the term love used to describe everything from our “love” of our favorite sports team to our spouse.  With so many definitions and portrayals of love out there, how are we to determine exactly what true love is all about?  How are we to know what true love is?  How do we know when we like someone or truly love them?  Is love a feeling or a decision?  And is love defined only by my perception or is there something deeper going on?  Join us in this sermon series as we seek to understand what true love is all about---including family love, romantic love, and Godly love.  In this exploration we will discover together the true power of love.
